LGPD is the Brazilian General Data Protection Law, which provides the rules regarding the processing of personal data, including by digital means, by a natural personal or legal entity governed by public or private law, with the purpose of protecting the fundamental rights of freedom, privacy and the free development of the personality of the natural person.
The National Data Protection Authority (Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados – ANPD) is the body of the federal public administration responsible for ensuring the protection of personal data and for regulating, implementing and monitoring compliance with the LGPD.
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, directly or indirectly, by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
Personal data processing is any operation performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, that may be carried out with the consent of the subject or in accordance with any other authorization provided by the LGPD.
FDC processes personal data in a fair, transparent way and in compliance with legislation and regulations on the subject. With your consent or by virtue of any applicable legal authorization, FDC may present informative content, offer educational solutions, publicize courses, events, institutional actions and carry out surveys. Under these conditions, these actions may be shared with suppliers and partners for the same purpose.
